The Role

Join us as an Operations & Facility Management Intern, where you’ll help manage office supplies, support facility upkeep, and assist with supply chain and warehouse activities, gaining hands-on experience in keeping our workplace efficient and well-organized.
The Operations & Facility Management Assistant Intern is responsible for the requisition of the Monrovia Office's monthly supplies and to support the management of the operations stationery store. He/she is responsible for supporting delegated supervision of the efficient cleaning/maintenance/renovation and repair of Last Mile Health offices and facilities, including but not limited to LMH Office, as per the standard best practices, prescribed policies, and lease agreements terms & conditions. The Operations & Facility Assistant Intern, as part of his/her responsibilities, is responsible for providing support to the supply chain operations and warehouse implementations, and activities.
This role is based in Liberia and open to national and international candidates located in Liberia.

What you’ll do
- Assist in ensuring the appropriate cleanliness, maintenance, and function of the offices and any other LMH facilities.
- Assist in ensuring very good waste management and that the grounds and environment within and around LMH facilities are well always well-maintained.
- Assist in ensuring that key repairs, renovation, and maintenance activities of LMH facilities are efficiently executed and tracked.
- Assist in verifying office and facility’s supplies with the warehouse responsible person, including the furniture, cleaning, and tea supplies.
- Assist in tracking, analyzing, and providing monthly reports on insights from facility management to aid decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Based upon request, make field trips to LMH’s site to provide the office and facility management support.
- Ensure compliance with LMH Facility Management Policies as well as other related Policies
- Assist in supervising activities and the work of the cleaners by ensuring that all processes to ensure the cleanliness of our offices are adhered to.
- Assist the warehouse team in the verification and reception of office materials upon delivery.
- Assist in preparing all office supplies consumption reports and the replenishment activities.
- Assist the warehouse to conduct the weekly spot-check on a weekly basis
- Assist the warehouse team during any inventory verification and stock-count exercise.
- Maintain a clear and effective communication with all stakeholders regarding operations and facility management.
- Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Operations Manager, Warehouse Team, and the Cleaners in handling office needs and any other arrangements.
- Any other duties that may be required or assigned by the Supply Chain Operations Manager. In line with the internship.
