Last Mile Health is in search of consultancy support from an individual or firm boasting substantial experience in conducting and analyzing compensation surveys. The ideal candidate should possess expertise, particularly within not-for-profit entities, global organizations, and complex structures. A key requirement is a demonstrated understanding of the labor market dynamics specific to Sierra Leone. We are eager to collaborate with professionals who can navigate the unique challenges posed by our context and contribute valuable insights to enhance our compensation strategies.
The selected consultant or firm will play a pivotal role in shaping Last Mile Health's approach to compensation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regional nuances. By leveraging their extensive experience, the consultant will aid us in crafting a comprehensive understanding of the current compensation landscape, enabling Last Mile Health to make informed decisions that attract and retain top talent in our mission to advance healthcare access and delivery in Sierra Leone.
This Consultancy is open to consultants located in Sierra Leone.
Using available compensation data and through qualitative interviews, develop an analysis of LMH’s current compensation practices in Sierra Leone (Freetown and districts) against the organization’s peers and industry best practices to provide insights and recommendations regarding the organization’s current model and how it should evolve in the future.
Scope of Work
The following scope of work describes the key tasks to be accomplished through this consultancy.
- Review LMH Sierra Leone compensation data, salary bands and benefits
- Benchmark LMH Sierra Leone compensation data, salary bands (as aligned with LMH’s org-wide compensation model) and benefits against peer organizations, industry standards, Sierra Leone labor law and compensation best practices.
- Determine the competitiveness of LMH’s compensation package against comparator institutions and the labor market in Sierra Leone
Potential Start Date: March 18, 2024
This project will be managed by LMH’s Director, Talent Acquisition, with additional support and input from the Country Director, Sierra Leone.
Individuals and firms with experience in compensation strategy and implementation, especially in the not-for-profit international development sector in Sierra Leone, are encouraged to submit a proposal.
Proposals should include at a minimum:
- Overview of the scope of work and time-bound work plan with deliverables (maximum 5 pages).
- Consultant profile(s)
- Details of 2-3 similar projects
- 3 References
Selection Process and Timelines:
Shortlisted finalists will be scheduled for a panel interview. The application deadline is February 26, 2024
