The Role
At Last Mile Health (LMH), we work to deploy a health worker within reach of everyone, everywhere.

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing IT assets' distribution, usage, and maintenance, resolving technological problems at all sites, identifying and managing business enterprise solutions, and improving LMH’s workflow with a focus on technological innovation and efficiency.
This position is based in Monrovia, Liberia, and is only open to candidates who are Liberian nationals currently located in Liberia.

What You'll Do
  • Manage LMH’s voice and data networks (cellular, broadband, and satellite) by monitoring usage and managing vendor relationships.
  • Administer the digital accounts of LMH staff, including but not limited to email, phone credit, and project management software accounts.
  • Find IT solutions and continuously determine how to make LMH more efficient using technology.
  • Help select and manage project management and MIS software, including training teams on their use.
  • Aid in the procurement and lead the designation of IT assets (including laptops, cell phones, mHealth equipment, portable satellite dishes, routers, computers, GPS devices, satellite phones, mHealth equipment, projectors, printers, and speakers) in partnership with the Supply Chain department.
  • Backstop the tracking of IT assets and manage the IT sections of asset databases, ensuring that they are accurate and updated.
  • Conduct quality-control/quality-assurance checks at each site for proper IT asset designation, storage, usage, etc.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues in becoming technologically proficient.
  • Develop, implement, and iterate a computer literacy training program for LMH staff.
  • Troubleshoot IT problems while minimally interrupting your colleagues’ work streams.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in network administration, database management, and or IT infrastructure management
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role
  • Extensive years of professional experience in IT, including 2-year management experience.
  • Experience managing IT projects and resources
  • Extensive experience in user needs and service delivery

The Band for this position: LBR- 3

The salary range for this role is $20,862 - $34,771, dependent upon experience doing an equivalent role. Please note that the compensation is subject to statutory taxes.
